Nps 4x series comes to chicksands.

Rd6 12th September Chicksands – Bedfordshire.

It will be the finishing event of one of the biggest 4x series in the whole of europe.

We will have the likes of english world cup 4x racers, Scott Beaumont, Will Longden, Scott Roberts, Tom Dowie, Pat c-j, Duncan ferris and Will Evans hitting up our newly referbished race tracks offering even more close racing and action.

Chicksands Bike Park Fun Day

The fun day this year, is being held in order to raise funds for the Royal National Orthopaedics Hospital for a new building project to further expand their facilities. They do some fantastic work with limb saving and prosthetics for our troops that come back from foreign parts in a bad way. This is also where Darren Williams, our Managing Director is having treatment for his foot/ankle injuries. Having seen the work they do we have decided that all day ticket proceeds for the day will go towards the cause (for this day only members have to pay to ride also). The number on your day ticket corresponds to the stub numbers which will be seperated and drawn out of a hat raffle stylee to win prizes. There will be a seperate raffle running along side this also where similar prizes can be won. Prizes range from sticker packs to grips, handlebars, rims, frames and forks amongst other things.

We hope our members and their families, along with all other riders and their families and friends will come along to see what the bike park is all about and raise some dosh for a very worthy cause. We look forward to seeing you all there...........

Dual Slalom Race is now cancelled
Sunday 18th October 2009 - Chicksands Bike Park Dual Slalom race.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the dual slalom race that was due to take place on Sunday 18th October 2009. We have made the decision that the current surface of the track is not fit for the event to take place. We are however looking to reschedule the event once the necessary repair work has been finished. Watch this space for details.
